With springtime there’s always Yard Cleaning Time! I love being able to finally enjoy doing yard work and sitting outside again.
After a long winter, one of the first steps for cleaning your yard is racking. Make sure you’re got a sturdy rack – there are always a ton of branches, twigs and leaves, and they can be very heavy. I also like to trim the bushes and trees before they spring into life. It’s easier that way and they grow better.
Cutting your grass is next and such a great way to get your yard in ship-shape. You can also give yourself a therapeutic work out. Don’t forget to fertilize! I like to use Scott’s Fertilizer but there are so many! Check them out here at Aubuchon’s.
Once you’ve put all the work in, there’s nothing better than sitting back in the sunshine and admiring your handiwork!
