I love cutting grass! It’s a great exercise and can be therapeutic as well. Fresh cut grass smells really good and gets the blood and sweat glands going! What a perfect form of exercise!
One of the best parts of cutting grass is being able to see the immediate beauty and change happen when you’re done. I always feel so proud. It’s one of the tasks I do outside in the yard that’s gratifying and fun in the summer.
Make sure to be careful when you do it yourself. It can be harmful to your ears and pieces of grass or dirt can get in your eyes, so always wear headphones, glasses, and gloves. And never cut your grass wearing flip flops!
Depending on how big your yard is, you can choose to use a walking lawnmower with an engine that pulls you or a sitting grass mower. I prefer getting exercise so I chose to buy a push lawnmower. It’s also fun to do weed-whacking as a part of grass cutting.
