Lake Placid is back in action! We can’t wait for summer to begin here in upstate New York. And with warm weather comes plenty of lacrosse. While you gear up for the big Lake Placid Summit Classic on August 2nd through 8th, the Lake Placid Summit Youth Classic swings into action on June 28th through 30th.
Designed to focus on player development and a “laxcation” atmosphere, the event balances competition with fun family activities that take full advantage of its Adirondack location.
You can register as a player here. The games take place on the North Elba Athletic Fields, which are less than a mile from GO-Cottage.
And later this summer, don’t miss the Lake Placid Summit Classic August 2nd through 8th. It’s a Lake Placid tradition and a symbol of our region’s warm, welcoming atmosphere. As tournament founder George Leveille says, “People come to the Lake Placid Summit to reunite with old friends, make new ones, and celebrate our beloved game in one of the most beautiful places in the world.”
If you’re participating, you can register here. And to get pumped up for the upcoming tournament, check out this video of a previous tournament from LakePlacid.com.
If you’re a spectator, admission and parking is free. But if you stay at GO-Cottage, you can even walk there! We still have some availability this year so be sure to book as soon as you can.
Good luck to all the teams and we hope to see you there!
