These games will tide you over till the next winter olympics – they include a huge variety of winter sports! Here’s just a sampling: alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsled, broomball, figure skating, freestyle moguls, luge, ski orienteering, snowboard cross, and speed skating. There are also several adaptive sports such as as adaptive snowboard cross and hockey.
If you still need your fix of bobsledding, Lake Placid hosts the World Cup Bobsled and Skeleton February 15th through 16th. Cheer on Team USA as men and women compete in the bobsled and skeleton races.
We still have availability this winter in our two-bedroom and studio cottages. The cottages are perfect for low-key skiing trips too!
