Would you look at this view?! They don’t call it Heaven Hill for nothing! We made a post about Lake Placid’s best hiking trails last year, but a new one just opened. It’s time to hike Heaven Hill!
Heaven Hill is one of the most beautiful trails in the village of Lake Placid. The Uihlein Foundation in Lake Placid recently opened its 4 miles of trails up and around the amazing Heaven Hill estate.
The trail starts with lush woods and opens up into an amazing, spacious field with tall grass everywhere. It’s the High Peaks like you’ve never seen them. The field loops up and around the farm. Beautiful!
It’s incredible that something so breathtaking is so accessible and centrally located. In addition to being easy to get to from town, it’s not far from Henry’s Woods.
Along with running and hiking, I love to mountain bike through Heaven Hill. If you’re new to mountain biking it may seem a little treacherous – or thrilling. My heart rate certainly went up while biking!
Whether you love hiking, biking, or simply taking in the gorgeous Adirondack outdoors, I highly recommend Heaven Hill!
