Plumbing is a very physical process. The pipes in the studio cottage were old and clogged and we wanted fresh water flowing all throughout the cottage. We began by removing old scrubs, trees, grass and dug and dug..
…and dug for 6+ feet through stone and massive boulders. The boulders were heavy and also very cool so we decided to keep them on the property for memories of the big dig.
We cut out all the old piping and replaced it with weather resistant pex piping. Placing Pex is pretty simple. It’s just connecting it from one end to the other end that’s hard.
The most difficult part was the digging and lifting giant boulders. Now we have fresh abundant water! I think there is an art to plumbing. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
