IBSF North America’s Cup Bobsled & Skeleton
The next generation of international sliders is on the hunt for top finishes in the 2023/24 North American Cup. Mt Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid, NY hosts the first and last in this global development series of Bobsled and Skeleton competitions from November 15-19, 2023 and March 6-10 2024. Like nothing you’ve seen before, these athletes have something to prove and it shows! Sliders fly on ice, pushing out the start with pure strength and speed, then navigating the technical turns of our unique combined track. Join the crowd as we rally the athletes to the finish line and see who comes out on top.

ECAC Men Hockey Championship
Lake Placid is the home of the ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship, and each year the best teams in the Eastern College Athletic Conference come to the 1980 Herb Brooks arena to claim the top spot and move on to the NCAA DI Championships.
If you like the excitement and fast action of hockey, there is no place better to see it than in the Olympic Center, home to the “Miracle on Ice.”

U.S. Figure Skating National Intercollegiate Finals
Intercollegiate competitions are governed by U.S. Figure Skating’s Collegiate Program Committee. The country is divided into four conferences (Pacific Coast, Midwest, Northeast and Southeast). Intercollegiate team skating appeals to lots of skaters because it is a team-driven sport, and individuals representing their collegiate organizations are welcomed and encouraged. For many athletes, the highlight of the season is qualifying for the National Intercollegiate Final ― when athletes from all over the country come together for a cross-section competition.
