It feels like time is flying faster than ever now. With all this technology and the internet making us feel more connected than we really are, I can’t wait to spend real time with family. So love and happy surroundings are what I yearn for!

It’s also such a beautiful time of year. Lake Placid is magical in the snow! And there’s so much to do outdoors. (Which also makes it a great place to start on those New Year’s resolutions.)

I’m looking forward to getting some good miles in on my cross country skis at Mount Van Hoevenberg. And maybe do a bit of downhill skiing at Whiteface Mountain.

I’ve also taken up a new sport, snowshoeing! It’s another great way to see Lake Placid’s scenery while getting a good workout. I hope that Santa Claus brings me a good pair this year.
