The Loppet
The Lake Placid Loppet returns this year to Mt Van Hoevenberg on February 26th, 2023. This event is open to everyone and brings in thousands of skiers to Lake Placid. Take on this awesome 50k course, or perhaps the 25k if that seems more suitable! Learn more about the event and registering here

ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship
On Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th Lake Placid will be home to the annual ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship. During this years event, this will also mark the opening of the new Mircale Plaza home to the brand new Lake Placid Olymic Museum, Miracle Moments Retail Shop, and Roamers Food & Beverage. ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships
Looking ahead into the end of March and early April, The International Skating Union (ISU) World Synchronized Skating Championships come to the Lake Placid Olympic Center on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st! Approx. 26 teams from 20 different countries will compete for the World Champion title. This event has been held since 2000 and showcases the most elite senior-level synchronized skating teams from around the world. To learn more about this great event, click here.
